Diversity in Horror review
This review was a pleasant surprise. After I returned from StokerCon, I realized that Diversity in Horror had reviewed my collection, Unshod, Cackling, and Naked. They recommended it for readers who like feminist horror and stories about animal rights.
I appreciate this review because the reader did not agree with the conclusions that many of the character’s drew, but the text was able to make them think deeply about many issues.
“I also recognized the mental disconnect that makes me willing to dissect a rat for science while also dropping over a grand on veterinary bills for a rat I keep as a pet. Truly a testament to Thompson’s skill as a writer.”
