I had a blast chatting with Scotty Milder on his Horror from the High Desert podcast. We discuss my works Unshod, Cackling, and Naked, Salamander Justice, and Graffiti, as well as 1995 horror film Tales from the Hood. We touch upon the ongoing themes in my work—violence in all its forms, creature features, misogyny—and the circuitous path I took from model/actress to journalist/producer to horror writer.
